Sales Intern - Location: Toledo, OH

THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a part-time Sales Intern. An effective Sales Intern has excellent problem-solving skills, knows how to use their resources, works well on a team, takes initiative, and is very detail orientated. In this role, you will be responsible for working with new and existing customers by:
– Making outbound business to business calls to leads, referrals, inbound requests, and/or past customers
– Making outbound business to business appointment setting calls
– Demonstrating our products to potential customers
– Maintaining accurate documentation of the calls and contacts that are made
-Help distribute marketing materials
-Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
-Promote our products and brand to our partnered companies
-Call on potential customers to gather on document feedback. This helps enhance our products and services
Sales Consultant - Location: Toledo, OH
Job Summary:
The Sales Consultant will sell and provide guidance about products needed by customers in the appropriate target markets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
• Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
• Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
• Explains and demonstrates features of products using varying methods of communication.
• Collaborates with other departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that training for new customer is scheduled.
• Cross sells other SaaS products as appropriate.
• Remains informed about competing SaaS products to assure ability to overcome objections.
• Creates and maintains database of current and potential customers in CMS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Thorough understanding of software products to be sold.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, or related field (or working toward) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required on occasion.
